About this program

Youth-driven mentoring and leadership development program which employs and trains first and second generation refugees and immigrants as facilitating mentors to engage youth as leaders and immerse them in community life.

For: East African Girls, Ages 14-18 who live or go to school in Seattle.

Days/Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30-6:30p.m* 

Location: Rainier Vista 

The Leadership & Business Development Program (LAB) is an 8-week paid opportunity serving high school aged, refugee and immigrant girls interested in community building and entrepreneurship. While in the program, participants enjoy a supportive environment, building a sisterhood, mystery field trips, delicious food, and so much more. Students will have a chance to earn up to $500 upon completion of the program!
